The Helping Hand Fund has been helping kids in our community with funding support for 25 years. Our goal is to ensure that no child misses out on a sport or community activity because of financial barriers.

In the past 25 years we have raised over $300,000 and helped to support over 100 individual kids in, and around, our community.

The main event that has helped to raise the money has been the Dean Turnquist Spring Fever Road Hockey tournament. Held each spring (Usually April or May) we host players of all ages to join us for a great cause while having fun in the oldest of Canadian Traditions!

We have recently expanded to offer a Fall Festival event since 2018 where we have presented an evening of dueling pianos that has also provided a great night out for everyone and helped to raise money for the Helping Hand Fund.

In 2020 we are also hosting a Family Day Pond Hockey Challenge, in partnership with the Town of Innisfail that will also see proceeds donated to the Helping Hand Fund.

We are also very fortunate that events hosted in and around our community have chosen to support the Helping Hand Fund with proceeds from their events. They include the Innisfail Farmer and Farmerettes Bonspiel, local SloPitch tournaments and the Innisfail Eagles Golf Tournament to name a few.

We are grateful for the support we have received and continue to receive to ensure no child misses an opportunity to participate because of financial barriers.
